Responsible Gaming

You stay in control of your own gambling decisions on this site, and the points below are meant to help you keep it that way. Some of this is practical advice worth applying regardless of where you play; the rest is a plain account of what this particular site does and does not do.

Decide Your Limits Before You Click Anything

A limit set in advance is easier to hold to than one worked out in the middle of a session, because by then the numbers in your head are competing with the wish to keep playing.

  • Choose an amount before you start and treat it as already spent, not as money you expect back.
  • Never gamble with borrowed money — a loss on top of a debt is a harder problem than a loss on its own.
  • If you lose the amount you set, stop rather than trying to win it back; chasing a loss usually turns one loss into two.
  • Take breaks during play. Stepping away for a few minutes gives you a chance to notice whether you still want to continue.
  • If gambling stops feeling like entertainment, tell someone else early — a friend, a family member, or one of the organisations below. Problems are easier to talk about before they grow.

Find the Independent Help Organisations on This Site

Every page of this site, including this one, carries links to three independent gambling-help organisations: begambleaware.org, gamblingtherapy.org and gamcare.org.uk. These are the only outbound links on the site that are not commercial — unlike the operator links, they carry no sponsored marking, they are set to nofollow, and they open in a separate tab on the organisations' own websites. This site receives nothing when a reader follows one of them.

Check the Eighteen-Plus Rule and the Listing Warnings

Age and eligibility are treated as fixed points throughout this build.

  • The eighteen-and-over restriction is repeated throughout the site, including on the front page and at the end of every operator listing.
  • Each of the ten operator listings ends with the same line: check availability and the current terms at the destination before claiming anything, because eligibility rules and terms apply there and can change without notice.

Know Where Account Controls Actually Live

Everything a reader can actually do with money happens after leaving this site: each operator link redirects to a third party, and from that moment the destination's rules, checks and account controls apply, not anything published here.

  • Deposit caps, loss caps, reality checks, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion are all settings inside an operator account. This site has no account, no form and no server-side application, so nothing published here can switch one of these on, check one, or enforce one.
  • Nobody's age is verified on this site and no gambling takes place on it — any check of that kind happens at the destination.
  • No advertising or behavioural profiling network runs on these pages, so nothing here is targeted at a reader who has shown risky behaviour.

If you want any of those controls in place, they need to be set up directly with the operator once you arrive there, not looked for on this page.
