Exciting stuff!
With Portsmouth pulling out of the 'race', so to speak, it would look as though Bristol are the best option to represent the South West region of the country.
What are you thoughts?

Go bristol!! It should bring alot of money into the city and the region. Whatever it costs it will generate ten times that amount at least.

ReportI thought Portmouth were pulling out because their stadium plans had been turned down...
I hope we get it - it will bring an influx of money in to the city - so I would worry about the costs.

ReportThe only thing that worries me is the costs, which is why Portsmouth pulled out!

ReportGood luck with the bid! But does Bristol have a better chance than Plymouth? If they want to have cities in all areas of the country they might chose Plymouth, because it is in the South West proper. But then if they want good and easy links to London, then Bristol stands a better chance just by being nearer.
