What's your favourite Bedminster building?
By BemmyBoo | Saturday, December 31, 2011, 11:41
The Greater Bedminster Community Partnership is running a competition in 2012 to find the best building in Bedminster.
-
The Grant Bradley Gallery on Bedminster Parade
-
The Bedminster Salvation Army building
Bedminster certainly has its share of landmark buildings, both new and old.
It is hoped that the competition will help to identify buildings which the local community considers to be important.
The partnership is inviting local people to nominate their favourite building or group of buildings – modern or historic, large or small, listed or not.
To nominate a building, the partnership is asking people to take a photo of it and explain where it is and why it is significant in less than 50 words. The email address to send your entry to is benbarker@blueyonder.co.uk.
Which Bedminster buildings would you miss if they were torn down?
Comments
If its the one I'm thinking of in West Street then yes thats pretty bad too.
Developers who get planning for buildings like that should be given a time limit to get on with it and get it done or face massive fines and the money shoudl be put into the local area.
