ReportI love Indian food, but Ganesha has a menu that's a bit different from the norm. The plain dosa starter (Indian style pancake served with coconut chutney) is delicious but terribly filling - definitely one to share. Similarly the Bhagara Baigan (Aubergines cooked in a peanut and onion tomato sauce) sounds a bit odd but tastes divine. The staff are polite and attentive and I'd definitely go back here again.

Went to Ganesha last night on Bedminster Parade and once again they served up the best Indian food I've ever tasted.
Had a delicious Masala Dosa for a starter which was a refreshing change to the usual stale pile of poppadoms you get in other establishments!
They've got lots of new dishes on the menu too - I tried the Gosht Saagwala (a succulent lamb and spinach curry) and the excellent staff recommended me saffron rice and a cheese and chilli naan to compliment it perfectly.
Can't wait to find an excuse to get down there again very soon! :-)
A really authentic Indian restaurant, not bogged down with all the anglo-"asian" curries, but focusing on a much fresher, more thought out and traditional range of dishes. Everything I've tasted here has been delicious, especially the naans which are normally bog standard in indian restaurants, but here they are soft and really really tasty.
