Someone has been arested after 2 gun shots have been fired, breaking the window of a building on Whitchurch Lane in Hartcliffe.
After searching the building they found canabis plants.
Isn't this scary?? So close to our homes!

It sounds like the sort of sentence the courts hand out for that kind of crime. Remember the racist attacks on those shop keepers here? It was a couple of 17 year olds that did that and they only got 18 months for each attack. They were violent attacks too. And I'm not sure but I think usually they only have to serve half the sentence so that means12 months for a violent robbery! Not much is it?!

ReportI was told this morning that there was a violent robbery in St Annes and the three 17 year old attackers were given 2 year sentances. Not sure how much of this is true, but what on earth are people this age doing crimes like this for? And if they are given a 2 year sentance, how lmuch of this will they serve?

ReportThe stats always seem to show that violent crime is a downwards trend, but it's a problem of public perception. When you read about stuff like this (and the lenient sentences that criminals get if they are caught and tried), it doesn't fill you with confidence or make you feel that our streets are safe.

ReportIt is pretty frightening. Did you read the article on here yesterday about the amount of drugs found in South Bristol over the last few months? Over £1m worth of stuff, most of it cannabis! And that's just the stuff they found. There's probably a lot more they don't know about.
