i am a residing pensioner lived in bedminster most of my life and have moved for disabilty reasons to a newish house on a new estate in bedminster and was supprised to find that respect for older people had completly gone where i am if i go outside to wash my car or plant my bit of front garden i get abuse thrown at me from neighbours ,only because they want to play there in my garden and drive dosent matter that my car is there (its only worth £10,000 ) and the same goes for the house they can do what they want to because they live here is what they say ,ask them to move or stop is like asking for gold .they have no consideration for age or disability ,i have spoke to the parents and was assured that they would stop ,YES SURE

Is it your garden then, or is a shared one?

Hopefully, the parents will have a word and tell them to stay out of your way. Or you might find that ignoring it for a while does the trick, if they're not actually damaging your garden or your car - I think that sometimes, kids do that sort of thing all the more if they know it gets to you. If you don't rise to it, they may get bored and go elsewhere, perhaps.
