C AN someone from the city council tell me why they are building tiny islands in North Street, Bedminster?

Who gave them permission to build and spend large amounts of money on something that no one asked for?

Don’t blame the motorists for bringing traffic to a standstill in this city. They have widened pavements, narrowed roads, added dozens of bicycle lanes and built more pedestrian lights and the city is grinding to a halt.

I thought all councils were supposed to reduce spending, to halt the debt this country is in.
