Have Your Say On Local Policing Priorities

Do you live in Windmill Hill? Do you have views on how your neighbourhood can be improved? If so, you are invited to attend a Partners and Communities Together (PACT) meeting to have your say on a wide variety of issues affecting your neighbourhood. A panel of decision makers from the police, the council and other local agencies will be on hand to hear your views and ideas, and are keen to know what problems you think need to be tackled in order to make your neighbourhood a safer place to live.
Whatever the issue, from noise to graffiti, street lighting to antisocial behaviour, the PACT team would like you to have your say. Together, you will be able to agree the top priorities for the area and help put together an action plan to tackle them.
The PACT meeting will take place on Monday 19th October at 7pm, at the Windmill Hill Bowling Club in Victoria Park. If you can’t make that date or would like to have the opportunity to meet with your neighbourhood policing team prior to the PACT meeting, you can contact them by calling 0845 456 7000 or visiting their website.
There has been a change to the Beat Surgery times for Victoria Park. A drop-in surgery will continue to take place every Wednesday afternoon at the Lodge from 3pm to 5pm, but there will be no Beat Surgery on Sundays anymore. To replace the Sunday surgeries, the neighbourhood policing team are hoping to use the Lodge as a base to patrol the area every day for two hours.

Sounds like a better idea, getting out where the action is!

ReportDaily patrols sound good! I don't think that very many people went along to the Sunday surgeries anyway.
