Perrett's Park
Two boys were walking home through the alleyway between Ketch Road and Tyning Road when two older boys assaulted them and took their J D Bug scooters.
One of the offenders was described as white, about 12 years old, with short dark brown hair which was styled to a point at the front, and a freckly face. He was wearing a black, zipped, hooded top which had a grey stripe across the chest, and dark trousers. He was riding a black BMX style bike.
The second boy was white, about 14 years old, with short brown, slightly curly hair and a spotty face. He was wearing a hooded top and grey jogging bottoms. He was riding a red BMX style bike with mountain bike tyres.
Although both of the offenders spoke with a Bristolian accent, they are not believed to be from the immediate area as the victims had never seen them before. It is thought that the offenders were part of a large group of youths that were in Perrett's Park during the afternoon.
The victims’ scooters are black in colour with “J D BUG” printed on them in white and one had red bearings on the wheels.
