Black Cloud In Victoria Park

There were two kinds of black clouds in Victoria Park early on Saturday morning, and one of them wasn't drenching me with rain!
'The Black Cloud' barn was raised in Victoria Park this weekend, although I think that they must have hit a few hitches, because it was supposed to be put up in one day, yet they were still working on it on Sunday afternoon.
So, what do people think? I like it, but that view wasn't shared by some of the others out walking their dogs - there were a few dark mutterings about the Black Cloud!
Still, give it a chance and it might grow on you. According to the leaflet that was put through my door, the Black Cloud has been designed by internationally acclaimed artists Heather and Ivan Morison especially for Vicky Park and was commissioned by UWE.
Apparently, the design was inspired by architecture that is built to withstand extreme environmental conditions and emergencies...let's see if it can withstand the local youths!!

don't really see the point in it, although you have a point about how long it will be able to last!

ReportI like it, it's something different. It'll be interesting to see what it's used for. Are they going to put on any special events now it's there?
