When coummunity works it is just great.   We have to support one another, makes life much nicer

I know we all moan about things at times but yes it is a great place to live. Part of my family have lived in Bedminster for over 150 years and I have lived here for 16 years now (although I spent a lot of time here as a child as well).

I have absolutely fantastic neighbours who help each other out and are always willing to lend a hand whether it is babysitting, helping fix each others houses or cars or just keeping an eye out for the older residents. Call me old fashioned but I like that sort of thing where people look out for each other. The area is well served with local shops and the traders are helpful and knowledgeable as well as selling quality products at prices cheaper than many other places I have known.

It's handy for getting into town and being able to walk into town and of recent years has gained some quality eating places. There is a swimming pool and a theatre virtually on my doorstep too. There are not that many places that can boast of that.

Yes it has its problems but so do other areas and having lived in them I can say that Bedminster has to be my favourite place and I am sure several people that I know who have moved here on my recommendation would agree.
