Should First be forced to lower fares

YES, definitely, because doing exams we have to go to Coombe Dingle and for that it costs £3.30. It is very expensive, it is not right.

I THINK it is too high. It comes to £30 a week to get to work. If they want people to stop driving it needs to be cheaper.

YES. Since I came to Bristol six years ago the only thing I don’t like is the bus service. It is too expensive and too slow.

We need a rival bus company. A bit of competition would be best for customers. First have almost a complete monopoly so they can put prices up whenever they want or take away the services we depend on and no-one does anything. You're right about the Italian services, they put ours to shame.

ReportI recently went to Italy and the train from pisa to florence (around 80 miles on a Lovely spacious and clean train) was cheaper than the bus from Backwell to City centre (about 6 miles in a diesel smelling sticky floored, seated, Tin Can)... of course they should lower fares, or just let a rival bus company start up and we will get better prices without First having a monopoly.
