Community groups or associations in the Windmill Hill area of Bedminster are invited to apply to the Windmill Hill Small Grants Fund for funding.

A variety of local community groups have already benefited from previous funding rounds, using the grants to purchase equipment, fund events in our local parks and other local projects such as art projects.

Grants are available up to £1,000 to help fund community events to be held in the Windmill Hill ward (which includes Totterdown) or to help local groups buy equipment or run courses that will benefit local residents.

Bids from community groups who have not previously applied would be particularly welcome.

A total of £10,000 has been made available through the Windmill Hill, Filwood and Knowle Neighbourhood Partnership.

It seems that all we hear about nowadays is funding cuts, so this makes a refreshing change!

If you would like more information or an application form, please contact Cllr Mark Bailey (Lib Dem, Windmill Hill) on 0117 377 3524 or email mark.bailey@bristol.gov.uk
