Redcliffe/Bedminster Memories

My earliest recollection of the area is as a child waiting on Recliffe Hill for a bus and looking at the puppies for sale in Pets Paradise.  Next door I believe there was a hat shop.  My gran lived in Knowle West and every saturday we would go to the vegetable stall by the London Inn.  Both my grandparents on my dads side came from the area and dad as a child lived in Paradise Cottages.  Gran lived in Ethel Terrace but I believe for generations the family lived around Stillhouse Lane.  If anyone has knowledge off either the Moss or Thorne families I would love to hear from them.
