Find out about Bristol's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender past and the ways people have fought to shape and control their lives since the mid-20th century.
This exhibition opens at M Shed on Saturday, February 2 and runs until Sunday, March 3.
Until the late 1960s, the great majority of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) Bristolians had to be very discreet and many led double lives.
The stories in this exhibition are told using specially recorded interviews with over 40 individuals young and old, loans from national collections, objects, memorabilia and works of art.
This exhibition is a collaboration between OutStories Bristol, M Shed and Bristol Record Office, supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund. Entry is free.
