On this 5 week evening course (Tuesdays 5.30-8.00pm) you will be able to explore the possibilities of working with copper to create Intaglio prints and discover how contemporary this 500 year-old process can be. Learn to work with hard and soft ground, aquatint and sugar lift to add line, tone and texture to your plates. You will also have the chance to experiment with colour through mono-printing and using chine-collé.
Designed for beginners and those with some experience. Everyone will be able to take home a small edition of the work produced during the course.
