Explore the tranquil landscape of Failand with our Head Ranger this spring!
Meeting Point: Home Farm Yard, off Sandy Lane, Lower Failand, BS8 3SN
Grid reference: ST518735
Start Time: 10.00am – 12.00pm
Explore and enjoy Failand's colours and smells of the bluebell woods this spring with our Head Ranger. The spring walk is a two hour circular walk exploring the Failand estate and its traditional landscape of small fields, woodland and streams. The route follows footpaths with a short section along a country lane. This tranquil oasis, just a few miles from Bristol offers various opportunities to admire the impressive views to Bristol, the coast and across to Wales. In addition, the group will join our Tennant farmer on route to learn more about organic farming and the different wildlife his farm supports.
Due to a strong possibility of there being wet ground we do advise wearing walking boots on the walk.
The cost of the walk will be £4 per person. Booking is essential for the Spring Walk and bookings can be made either online at http://tinyurl.com/btswude or by phone on 08442 491895.
