THE PAPER VILLAGE BIG WOOLLY MASH UP

Paper Village is creating a hyperbolic reef and underwater woolly wonderland - an installation that we will be showing for the Arts Trail in May

To this end each month we are creating different events to get people involved in its creation. The reef events this month culminate with a BIG WOOLLY JAM

There will be three groups that you can join:

The Big needle felt a fish jam – the deal Normally we charge £24 for our needle felting course – you get to learn for £6.50 as long as you give us the fish you made at the end of the session ( you will get it back after the exhibition) see examples on our face book page

Experimental Crochet jam – We will bring along lots of yarn – you just bring your hook and will show you ways to create fantastic hyperbolic structures …..and we have fish patterns too !!

Knitted Curlicues and fantastical fish jam – Elise will help you sharpen your needles and get stuck in to turning a pile of wool into beautiful woolly underwater wonderfulness


Please note if you want to join the crochet or knitting sessions then you must be able to do double and treble crochet and knit and pearl without being shown how …needle felting however is suitable for beginners

We will not be teaching the basics within this session - please come on one of our courses if you want to learn from scratch

HOW TO GET YOUR TICKET
We are charging for this event £6.50 per ticket available from the shop ..and £2.50 from each ticket goes to the Lantern Parade. Your ticket is also a raffle ticket and you may win a lovely woolly prize. Pop into Paper Village or phone 0117 9639452

What to bring
Please bring knitting needles about size 4mm or a crochet hook size 4mm

If you want to have pizza or food then please turn up a bit earlier - and if you can let ATLAS BAR know that you would like food – they have freshly made pizzas etc
