Informative, friendly, relaxed & great coffee!
Henry was patient, friendly and the lessons had a relaxed atmosphere. I was learning video editing with Premiere but Henry taught me so much more than just the basic software, he showed me how different projects require different styles and what is expected from each piece of work, which was really important as I'm looking to pursue a career in video production. His knowledge and professional experience really helped here! We used some of his project work to practice on, including a Wedding and a music video, both of which are now in my showreel. We started with the basics, learning how to start a new project, organising video files and mapping out sequences, then we started editing clips together, all the while, discussing what the end goal was and what the project was for, which was important. I really enjoyed my tutoring, it was informative, friendly and relaxed. His home office where we worked was comfortable, the computer was fast and had a large screen, and there was tea and coffee on stand by! If you have any gaps in your computer knowledge, are looking to work on a new project or just want to learn something from scratch then I would definitely recommend Henry and his 121 IT Tuition. Communicative / Informative / Helpful / & More...
I am a tutor of Creative Media Practice at Bath Spa University and my students worked with Henry on their final year film projects. Henry collaborated with our students writing music for their work but came back again the following year in a tutoring role, advising and helping the students with regards to the whole production process, including filming techniques, sound recording, editing, other post production, sound and music.
He tutored our students on a regular basis, over-seeing and encouraging a development in their work, giving a professional insight to their work that was invaluable aswell as refreshing.
My students really appreciated Henry's input, and his advice and instruction was seen in their final projects. If I was to recommend one of my students for extra tuition, or anyone, it would certainly be Henry, who I'm sure would help them immeasurably with their work and any technical or software issues they may have. -
Great help with our students! - to the point, helpful & personable
Henry came into our school and helped our Music Technology and Music GCSE & A Level pupils, tutoring them on their individual projects. He was a great help and provided an alternative insight on the pupils work that I could not, him having worked in the industry. The pupils responded to him well and developed their work how they were instructed and a good progression could be seen from Henry's interaction with them. He was an invaluable resource for the time we had him and I wish we could have had Henry for longer with our pupils.

Set-up Great New Website together to show my Artwork & Portfolio to the world!
Henry and I set-up my website together and he showed me exactly how to design, implement and update my site when I needed. I wanted a website to show off and even sell my drawings and artwork. I am very computer literate as I create artwork with photoshop using a tablet but I had no idea how to get my stuff online and get known.
Setting up the website was really the first step, Henry showed me how to update it, maintain it and get noticed online which has even helped me get work in my field. We even used Flash to animate some parts of my website! It seemed silly paying someone twice as much to do me a website when I could get one for half the price and also learn how to do it at the same time! And even update it myself!
I would definitely recommend Henry, it seemed like the obvious option over paying hundreds of pounds or monthly fees for a website. I am a very hands on person and working with Henry was ideal so I could do it myself in the future. -
Photoshop tuition
I am in my final year of a PhD and I needed to learn how to use Photoshop in order to process
and alter images that I required for my PowerPoint presentations, to include in an article to be
published and also to feature in my thesis.
Henry and I discussed what I wanted out of Photoshop and he understood exactly what
I needed. He explained clearly, showing patience, how to alter images and apply effects,
amongst other things. He helped me get exactly the results I was looking for. I was very
satisfied with the tuition.
I will definitely turn to him again if I need more help regarding computing software and
any ‘how to…’ issues. -

I learnt Dreamweaver with Henry and left with a wealth of valuable knowledge. I feel that I have gained an edge over my competitors in the area of web design. Extra tuition is indeed a must if you wish to succeed in the media industry and Henry's tuition is relaxed yet effective.
