Gutted to hear that Bob Wherlock butchers on North Street has now closed down completely after financial backers pulled out - v.bad news for North Street shopping... Laura

I was shocked to discover that Wherlocks had closed. I have been going there for years and my grandmother used to get all her meat produce there as well. My family will definitely miss their quality products, especially the Southville Sizzler and Spanish sausages. However, more importantly I hope that all the staff that have given such excellent service over the years find employment in these financially constrained times (although even better would be someone stepping in to re-open Wherlocks and employing them all).
