Man arrested by officers investigating sexual assaults in St George, Bristol last year

Detectives investigating a series of sexual assaults that took place in the St George area of Bristol in May and November of last year, have arrested a man.

A 32-year-old from St George was arrested on Tuesday (January 29).

Officers initially arrested him for theft and three counts of voyeurism. He was charged and pleaded guilty to the offences at Bristol Magistrates court yesterday (Thursday January 31). He was remanded into custody for sentencing at Bristol Crown Court on February 19.

The man has been bailed in relation to the sexual assaults, to allow officers to investigate further.
