It is the busiest time of the year for one Bristol business as they prepare to light up the skies for Bonfire Night.
Skyburst the Firework Co., with bases in Bedminster and Upper Langford, are performing a whopping 75 displays up and down the country from November 2nd-5th.
For what is set to be the busiest weekend of the family-run company's year, Skyburst has specially sourced new materials from China.
Skyburst managing director Alan Christie said: "Unsurprisingly this is our busiest time of the year but this year we are expecting to break all our records in terms of bookings, displays and turnover.
"In October and November we are due to perform 120 displays and for each we have specially sourced top-of-the-range material from China, meaning crowds will witness the best in pyrotechnic technology.
"We have already tried out the new material on a few displays and the feedback has been tremendous so I'm really looking forward to getting started on the public displays this Bonfire season."
Skyburst has a history of providing professional firework displays which dates back over 30 years. Based in the South West but operating across the whole of the UK, using professionally trained firers, Skyburst has delivered major displays including the Bristol Balloon Fiesta, Brixham Festival, Bridgewater Carnival and the Tall Ship Race.
Skyburst also has a shop in Bedminster where they stock a large range of fireworks, with experts on hand to help you choose the right show to suit your event.
Alan continued: "As well as performing professional public displays all over the place, sales in our shop have been great. It's nice for people to come along and talk to someone who really knows their stuff. We can recommend the best products for their needs and give advice about firing.
"We also have a safety guide so if anyone is worried about holding their own display please get in touch.
"Out of all the displays we have planned I'm really looking forward to getting involved with the Downend Firework show and the Canford Park display. They are the two biggest shows in Bristol so it's very exciting to be performing at them."
