Art on the Hill this weekend

Bedminster's Art on the Hill is back for its fifth year this weekend: the popular art trail will take place in Windmill Hill and Victoria Park on Saturday and Sunday 1 and 2 October.

More than 80 artists and performers are taking part in the event this year, with their work appearing in more than 40 houses and community venues in the area. 

There will be a mix of art, sculpture, photography, jewellery and ceramics on display and available to buy. 

It's a great opportunity to view art in a relaxed atmosphere, talk to the artists and buy art straight from the studio – perhaps pick up some beautiful and original gifts for Christmas!

In addition, there will be performances and concerts to enjoy, including a performance of Hayden's Creation by the Windmill Hill Chorus and Bristol Chamber Orchestra, as well as workshops and a parade to take part in.
